Community Guidelines
Last updated: October 2026
The Filagora feed is where makers show what they make, how they make it, and what went wrong along the way. These guidelines keep it useful, friendly and about making. They apply to posts, comments, messages and reviews.
1. What the feed is for
Making — and only making. Post about:
- finished prints, works in progress and timelapses;
- painting, sanding and finishing;
- design and CAD;
- printers, setups, upgrades and mods;
- tips, settings and how-tos;
- fails and fixes (spaghetti welcome);
- running your shop and your business.
Laser cutting and CNC are welcome when they're part of a printing project. Off-topic posts — memes, politics, unrelated selfies — may be removed or kept out of recommendations.
2. Post your own work
- Use your own photos of things you made, printed or bought.
- Printed someone else's model? Credit the designer in your caption.
- Label AI-generated images and renders. A render on its own isn't a make — show the real print when it's done.
- Never post other people's photos or work as your own.
3. Not allowed
- Nudity and sexual content, including NSFW miniatures and figures.
- Hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, and sharing someone's private information.
- Firearms and firearm parts — photos, files, links or instructions — and anything else on the Prohibited Items list.
- Dangerous instructions — for example disabling thermal runaway protection, or unsafe ways to handle resin.
- Spam, scams, fake giveaways, and engagement bait ("like if…", "comment 'yes' for the file").
- Impersonating another person, shop or brand.
- Selling outside Filagora — posting prices with outside payment links, or "DM me to buy" for items that aren't listed here.
4. Promoting your shop
Self-promotion is welcome — that's half the point. Tag your own listings in your posts so people can buy what they see.
- Don't flood the feed: keep it to a few promotional posts a day.
- No follow-for-follow, like-for-like or comment chains.
- Don't drop shop links in other people's comments.
5. What we recommend in "For you"
"For you" favours new posts that people engage with — especially original work with real photos and captions that help others (settings, filament, what you'd do differently). Posts our team features get an extra boost.
Some posts can stay up but won't be recommended: reposts of other people's work, renders without a real print, engagement bait, and borderline content that comes close to breaking these guidelines.
6. Reviews
- Be honest, and write about the item and the shop — quality, accuracy, packaging, communication.
- Review only what you actually bought, and don't accept anything in exchange for a review.
- Shops can't ask you to change or remove a review, or offer something for it. Report it if they do.
- No personal information, hate or harassment — in reviews or replies.
7. Maker of the week
Every week our team picks a maker whose work stands out — original, well photographed, and generous with what they've learned. Their posts are featured in the feed. You can't apply or pay for it: make good things, share how you made them, and help others.
8. If something breaks the rules
Use Report on the post, comment or profile, or our report form. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, hide it from recommendations, add a strike to the account, limit posting or commenting for a while, or suspend the account. Serious violations — threats, weapons, sexual content involving minors — lead to immediate suspension and, where the law requires, a report to the authorities.
You'll always be told what we did and why, and how to appeal. Appeal by replying to that message or emailing support@filagora.com; a person reviews every appeal. More in the Terms of Service.
